About Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services

Didi Hirsh Mental Health Services- Excelsior House
Excelsior House helps adults who are going through a mental health crisis, including those who have more than one condition at the same time. The house can support 14 people. The program staff help residents manage medications, build coping skills and connect with community support before they leave. They are part of the Didi Hirsch network and are located in Inglewood, California.
Some folks come here from outpatient programs, while others come from a hospital setting to complete stabilization. I noticed that their residential program lasts up to 28 days.
Licensed and Accredited Care
They accept Medi-Cal and most major insurance plans. I was glad to see that support is available to keep services within reach, even if you’re facing financial challenges. They are accredited by the Joint Commission and certified by the California State Department of Health for outpatient substance use treatment.
Support in Multiple Languages
I think it’s helpful that their therapists provide culturally sensitive care using evidence based treatments and provide services in English, Spanish, Armenian and Farsi. They offer short term outpatient therapy for adults in crisis, including after a loss or with job issues. They’ll connect you to housing, benefits and in home support resources so you have practical help when you need it.
Counseling and Support
Outpatient substance use services at Didi Hirsch include individual and group counseling, recovery education and support for families who want to be part of the process. They also provide 24/7 suicide support for anyone in crisis.
