Detroit is known as the Motor City and boasts the first urban freeway and the invention of the traffic light. This site was right next to Cass Park.

Continuing Care LIGHT Model of Care

The program offered a comprehensive and continuing care model for individuals experiencing substance use disorder. The services included withdrawal management or detox, offering you a safe environment to begin your recovery journey. They provided medical and emotional support with 24 hour on site nursing. The level of care was designed for moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms.

After detox, clients could move to the residential treatment services or into an intensive outpatient program. The organization offers a unique enhanced outpatient program with housing that combines outpatient treatment within a supportive recovery housing environment. The organization is one of the first in Michigan to offer this level of care.

Traditional outpatient services were available at this location, including collaborative planning, case management and peer support. The peer coaching program offered guidance and encouragement using their LIGHT model of treatment, which was a strength based approach to improve long term engagement.
