About Destinations For Teens

Located along the California coast in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, Destinations For Teens is a group of drug and alcohol rehabs. Destinations offer a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, a residential program, and dual diagnosis treatment for teens aged 12 through 17.

Teens in the residential program commit to 30 days of treatment focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy and coping skills. Programming also consists of an onsite academic component, one on one therapy, exercise, healthy meals, vocational skills training, psychosocial assessment, psychiatric care and yoga.

During the partial hospitalization program each student receives three hours of educational classwork, five days per week. The intensive outpatient program and partial hospitalization program both include meeting with a pediatric psychiatrist once a month, attending group, individual, and creative therapy sessions, mentor sessions with alumni and integration into the 12 Steps.
