About Deer Hollow – Pioneer House
Deer Hollow Residential Treatment Center is a trauma recovery facility that serves adults who're struggling following a traumatic incident. You'll find 'em located out in Draper, Utah. The care team recognizes that trauma takes on many forms and includes symptoms ranging from mental health disorders to addictive behaviors and substance use struggles. This facility treats those disorders and others. They also have specialized programs for first responders.
They provide treatment through residential and outpatient programs. They also have recovery housing and telehealth, an alumni program, and family support. They accept policies for most major insurance providers.
Care is comprehensive, compassionate, and designed to meet your unique recovery needs. When you first seek treatment, you'll undergo a thorough evaluation to determine what your behavioral health struggles are and what co-occurring substance use disorders accompany them.
It’s important to note that they don’t offer detox, but they do have medication assisted treatment (MAT). They provide naltrexone and Vivitrol to help you manage your withdrawal and control cravings. And, yes, you can smoke and vape in certain locations and times if necessary.
Aside from the traditional treatment programs, they have some perks that might make residential treatment a good fit. They let you bring MP3 players, albeit without cameras and Wi-Fi, and even your own small musical instruments so you can play during your downtime. I especially like how you can also carry essential oils and nutritional supplements so that you can maintain a regular hygiene schedule that feels like home. Don’t forget to bring gym wear and your own reading materials.
