About Daymark Recovery Services – Vance Center
Daymark Recovery Services (DRS) is a network of addiction and mental health treatment centers throughout North Carolina. At this location in Henderson, they provide adult and youth outpatient services for those experiencing mental health issues or substance use disorders. DRS Henderson provides advanced access walk-in assessments on a “first come, first served” basis, and has a 24 hour crisis hotline for immediate access to a clinician.
Flexible Walk In Assessments to Connect with Treatment Programs
During your walk in, you will want to bring your insurance or Medicaid card, your ID or Social Security card, and any referral documents that are relevant to your visit. Those uninsured are eligible for a sliding or discounted scale as defined by the relevant Managed Care Organization. After your walk in assessment, your future appointments will be scheduled during their business hours of Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM.
Outpatient Recovery and Mental Health Treatments for Adults and Youth
DRS Henderson employs diverse modalities for drugs and mental health treatment. You can access substance abuse intensive outpatient services here as a starting point or after an inpatient experience. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) with Suboxone is also available for adults at this facility. I think it’s a great benefit that adults at this location may also access Work First and peer support programs to promote stability in their recovery journey.
There are also specific services available to youth at Henderson. Individuals can access assessments and therapy for youth involved in juvenile justice and intensive in-home treatment at this location. Individuals of all ages can receive routine outpatient therapy, psychiatry, medication management, and tailored care management at DRS Henderson.
Located on the northern end of the city, their clinic is about an eight minute drive from Nutbush Bridge Campground and Kerr Lake. I love how this offers great opportunities for outdoor recreation during your recovery journey.
