About Davis Behavioral Health

Located in Layton, Utah, is the Davis Behavioral Health Main Street Clinic. This clinic supports children, adults and families who are working through a mental health disorder or co-occurring substance use disorder. Care is offered in an outpatient setting.

Because this is a traditional clinical facility, you'll find that treatment is very much in line with what you would expect out of a behavioral health clinic. However, I’ve found that many past clients say that the treatment team here is very inviting, compassionate and kind. This helps to take away the rough edges of what you might think clinical care generally looks and feels like.

Individualized Recovery in Layton

Recovery is very much individualized here, and I think that's important to recognize because everyone's journey to recovery looks different. The treatment team here will help you find what will best serve you. Alongside individual counseling, you’ll be able to engage in group therapy as well. This will help you have a sense of community so that you don’t feel alone in recovery.

Medication Assisted Treatment

If you have an opioid use addiction, medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available here. This can be an effective way to help you manage cravings so that you can continue working through your treatment plan.

Senior Drug & Alcohol Rehab

Taking the older adult's unique needs into account, elderly rehab in Utah increases recovery success. Physical limitations, chronic medical conditions, and other common age-related concerns are incorporated into these programs to provide relevant, safe, and effective treatment.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT)

Rational emotive behavioral therapy in Utah can be applied to any form of substance abuse treatment. It is often used in dual diagnosis treatment, to address both addiction and associated issues such as anxiety or depression.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an integrative, community-based care strategy designed to address the needs of persons with severe and/or complex mental illness or behavioral disorders. ACT is typically provided by a multidisciplinary team of medical and mental health care providers, social workers, therapists, and other specialists, including addiction recovery professionals. These services are frequently provided in the home and community to clients in crisis, those who are clinically unstable, and those who are unable or unwilling to travel to a hospital or clinic for in-person treatment.
