About Cumberland Heights – Music Row

Located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, Cumberland Heights’ Music Row center offers outpatient alcohol and drug treatment. Individuals receive personalized assessments and care plans along with flexible treatment hours. The facility follows the 12 Step model for treatment and offers individual and group therapy.

Please note that this center caters to folks in downtown and surrounding areas. They also don’t offer medical detox.

Addiction Treatment in the Heart of Nashville

With the facility conveniently located downtown, you’re not far from many of the things that make Nashville unique. Outside of your treatment sessions, you can spend time checking out a variety of museums such as the Johnny Cash Museum and the Frist Art Museum.

The intensive outpatient program offered will involve participation in counseling three to five days a week for a few hours a day. Topics in your counseling sessions include relapse prevention, recovery tools, and medical aspects of addiction.

One therapeutic approach that I like in your treatment is roleplaying. It involves clients practicing ways to overcome relapse triggers. It’s ideal for individuals who feel anxious about encountering new situations that could affect their sobriety.

In addition to these treatments, your counselor will help you set personalized treatment goals and refer you to additional resources to address psychological, vocational or health needs.

Recovery on Your Schedule

One thing that stood out to me most is the flexibility of all their services. You can participate in the intensive outpatient program in the morning, evening, or afternoon. The family program is provided on Monday evenings, Thursday afternoons, or Friday mornings. Additionally, Cumberland Heights offers telehealth services for orientations and individual consultations.
