About Crest View Recovery Center Asheville
Crest View Recovery Center Asheville is a comprehensive addiction treatment center located in the Blue Ridge mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Here you’ll find a 90-day supervised housing rehab program, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and an alumni program. Their treatment programs are based on reality therapy which is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on living in the present and facing reality.
The supervised housing rehab program is when you live on-site and attend the daily PHP services. This program runs anywhere between 37 days to six months. While in this program you’ll receive 24 hour medical care. You’ll also participate in a range of psychotherapy sessions and process groups.
The PHP without housing is a short-term option that includes rehab activities between three and five days per week. During this time, you’ll get individual and group therapy, medical care and ongoing supervision. The IOP offers three days per week of treatment for three hours at a time. This program generally lasts between four and six weeks. You’ll also have access to the on-site psychiatrist and attend 12-step meetings.
I love that Crest View’s alumni program puts together sober events like bowling, cookouts and speaker meetings. They also offer alumni support meetings and have a Facebook group to keep connected with their peers.
People who’ve gone to treatment at Crest View say this place and the people here are wonderful. Another person said they highly recommend Crest View for anyone navigating the spectrum of substance misuse.
