Patients benefit from individual and group therapy, psychoeducation (including relapse prevention), and MAT — a highly effective and evidence based treatment endorsed by SAMHSA and NIDA. MAT involves the use of certain medications, like Suboxone, or Vivitrol, in combination with behavioral counseling to reduce cravings and the euphoric effects of substances.
