About Jane Westin Center

The Jane Westin Center is located in San Diego, California and operates as part of the Community Research Foundation. They are an urgent psychiatric walk center. Although you will be seen the same day, you will be screened and triaged based on your needs and urgency. Insurance is accepted including MediCal and those dual insured with MediCal and Medicare. Their programs are recovery oriented, as well as community based. You will also be able to receive assistance with employment services and education. I like that the staff partners with you to develop your goals. Your treatment plan will be developed based on your individual goals and needs.

When you’ve finished your treatment here, they’ll connect you to other nearby resources that can help you continue your recovery journey. These providers may offer medication management, behavioral health services, and social services.

Family participation is highly encouraged. They encourage you to invite your family and/or significant other to participate in your recovery plan. When your loved ones are on the same track, they are able to help you and support your long term success.
