Beryl’s House is a recovery home for women based in Worcester, Massachusetts. It’s part of UMass Memorial Health’s Community Healthlink and helps women attain long-term sobriety through supportive residential treatment. Six Months of Structured Support
Women can stay here for as long as six months while taking part in rehabilitative services, including substance use disorder treatment, mental health counseling, domestic violence counseling and vocational training. This 25-bed home helps clients build personal responsibility and a sense of empowerment, giving them the tools to lead a substance free, productive life.
Keeping Moms and Children Together
I think it’s great that if you’re pregnant or postpartum, you’ll have a designated private room so you can keep your child with you. The focus is on staying sober, finding a stable place to live and getting the tools that make everyday life easier. Moms can strengthen their parenting skills, and if you’re ready to work, they’ll help you find employment too.
