About Community Crisis Center
The Community Crisis Center in Billings, Montana is a first point access center for mental health, substance abuse and social service needs. Help is available regardless of somebody's ability to pay.
Their center gives people access to assessments and individualized stabilization plans. You'll be seen by licensed professional counselors and clinical social workers. They offer crisis counseling, safety plans and suicide interventions. Stabilization resources are available 24 hours a day. Staff can help you complete applications for housing, Medicaid, SNAP and more. They also provide food, rest, laundry services, showers and evaluations by registered nurses. You can get referrals to other resources you may need.
For people dealing with addiction, the Community Crisis Center has licensed addiction counselors on staff. They can provide evaluations, counseling, relapse prevention services, medical support and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). They also have dual recovery groups for people who are dealing with both substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Depending on your needs you may spend up to nine hours a week in treatment as part of the IOP.
I like that this center gives you quick access to whatever kind of support you need. You can go to one place and get a whole umbrella of behavioral healthcare.
The Community Crisis Center Partners with St Vincent's Healthcare, Riverstone Gealth and Billings Clinic. They have a 24-hour a day open door policy. Any member of the community can go here when they are in need of empathy, hope and crisis intervention.
