About Community Counseling Services – Tunkhannock

Community Counseling Services Tunkhannock is an outpatient behavioral health center providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. The center offers individual, group, and family counseling in addition to psychiatric services and medication management as well as case management.

Community Counseling Services delivers integrated, community based care with specialized programming which we feel supports recovery and wellness for clients and families.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Medication-Assisted Recovery

Community Counseling Services provides outpatient addiction treatment combining behavioral therapy with medication support. The center offers Medication Assisted Treatment including methadone maintenance to address substance use disorders through evidence based care which I have seen targets both physical dependence and the behavioral aspects of recovery.

Treatment includes individual and group counseling alongside psychiatric services and medication management. Sessions help clients build coping skills, address underlying issues, and access the coordinated care needed to sustain long term recovery.

Specialized Services for DUI and Family-Focused Care

The Tunkhannock office provides a DUI Program for clients navigating court mandated or voluntary treatment related to impaired driving.

Community Counseling Services also offers Family Based Services delivering support that engages the entire family system to strengthen communication, address relational stressors, and promote healing in the home environment.
