About Community Counseling Center

The Community Counseling Center (CCC) is licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet of Family and Health Services to provide various outpatient behavioral health services from substance use recovery and mental health care to supporting survivors of domestic violence. They have a skilled and friendly interdisciplinary team with over 60 years of combined experience in behavioral healthcare, including more than 30 years focused specifically on substance use recovery. This positions them as a trusted partner in recovery whether you’re seeking voluntary support or court mandated treatment.

CCC is located on West 9th Street in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, just a short walk west of the Pennyroyal Area Museum and the Trail of Tears Commemorative Park. Their genuine commitment to providing cost effective care in a welcoming atmosphere while honoring each patient’s dignity has earned the trust of residents throughout Christian County.

Affordable Addiction Treatment

I love that the bulk of their services are provided under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This means they meet essential health standards and may be covered by most insurance plans including Medicaid or marketplace options.

A modest out of pocket fee is typically required for those without insurance, keeping care affordable while ensuring access to essential services. Their personalized approach to recovery is an important feature I find impressive as well because it ensures you’re supported at every stage of your healing journey. They accept referrals from local care providers and criminal justice service agencies.

Addiction Recovery Support Beyond Therapy

In addition to traditional addiction therapies, you’ll have guidance to help you navigate housing, employment, legal issues and other essential services that support long term recovery and stability. The facility may also provide referral support to outside care providers if ongoing assessment indicates the need for more structured inpatient care.

You’re connected with and encouraged to participate in local self help meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous too. This can help you build a strong support network and connect with others who share similar recovery journeys.

Court Mandated Recovery Services

CCC provides various recovery oriented services for judicial involved clients to promote accountability, safe decision making and compliance with judicial mandates. They’re licensed by the Kentucky Division of Substance Abuse to provide assessment and Prime for Life education programs for first time DUI offenders and evidence based therapy for multiple offenders.

They also provide Department of Transportation (DOT) and non-DOT urine, oral and hair follicle substance use screening as well as mobile drug testing services to companies and individuals. The facility offers round the clock employer mandated and court ordered drug testing. Additional support includes domestic violence education and employee assistance programs to address substance misuse in the workplace. They even offer court mandated and private mental health counseling for adults, adolescents and children.
