About Community Care Alliance

Jellison House is a residential addiction and co occurring disorder treatment program in Johnston, Rhode Island. It’s owned and operated by Community Care Alliance, who boast several other community support programs to help those struggling to live independently. To qualify for treatment at Jellison House, clients must be diagnosed with a psychiatric disability and be receiving Medicaid and SSI.

Recovery On Campus and In the Community

The holistic approach used by this facility emphasizes the need for socialization as part of mental health and SUD rehabilitation. This happens in the house with residents participating in regularly scheduled social events, but other activities take place off site in the greater Johnston community. I think these outings are a great opportunity to explore the area’s different support communities, meet new people, and simply get out during your recovery.

Support 24 Hours a Day

I also like that staff are always present at the Jellison House to help residents in need. The team is comprised of individuals from across the spectrum of mental health professions, so they can address any needs that may arise. For example, you can always connect with a social worker if you’re seeking help finding support services to bolster your recovery or ease the transition out of care.
