About Community Bridges Matrix

Community Bridges Matrix was an addiction treatment center in Phoenix, Arizona offering integrated substance use and mental health care for adults navigating co-occurring conditions. However, they are now permanently closed.

Clinical care included individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, mindfulness groups and family education. I was impressed by the variety of therapies they offered.

The facility specialized in dual diagnosis care for adults with both substance use and mental health concerns. Aftercare, peer support and housing related resources help extend recovery beyond the clinical setting.

Community Bridges Matrix was located in north Phoenix near the Thunderbird VA Clinic and other community health partners. The location offered convenient access for Phoenix area residents seeking coordinated behavioral health care.

What insurance was accepted?

The program accepted Medicaid and Medicare, TRICARE and private insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and UnitedHealth Group, Amerigroup and Elevance Health, Beacon Health Options and ComPsych. Self pay was also available.
