About Community Alcohol Information Program

Located in Boscawen, New Hampshire, Community Alcohol Information Program (CAIP) is a drug and alcohol treatment program for adults offering DUI diversion programs, treatment for those convicted of driving offenses, education, counseling, and aftercare.

CAIP specializes in treating drivers with alcohol and substance use disorders who have been convicted of driving under the influence offense (DUI/DWI). Based on a care management model, CAIP works with individuals to support them in completing an impaired driver course. The program includes an intake, evaluation, and classes. Assessments are conducted by licensed drug and alcohol counselors who will also provide an individualized treatment plan. Treatment sessions are available in the evenings and weekends and individuals must complete 20 hours of programming.

Community Alcohol Information Program costs $300, with a state fee of $70, intake fee of $75, evaluation of $200, and monitoring fee of $30 per session. However, low income individuals are eligible for reduced fees.
