About Clearview Recovery
Clearview Recovery is an inpatient women’s substance use treatment center in the rural community of Prairie City, Iowa. They provide traditional recovery services plus focused programs to meet the needs of women and single mothers. They are contracted to serve Medicaid recipients throughout the state of Iowa.
Building Habits That Last
They’ve been operating in Iowa since 2005, and offer all levels of substance use treatment. They encourage family participation and frequent attendance at 12-step meetings during treatment, with the goal of making it easier to continue participating in these meetings after discharge.
Recovery Without Separation
One of the challenges single moms face is caring for their children during recovery. I think it’s great that women getting treatment here can have their children with them in the facility during treatment. They work to create a realistic family environment during recovery, ensuring safe and healthy surroundings for both mothers and their children.
Support Designed for Mothers
This program takes a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the unique challenges women with children face. It helps moms build lasting recovery through parenting support, job training and confidence building. They also focus on family connection, community among residents and ongoing support after treatment.
