About Church of Salvation

New Canaan Ranch of the Church of Salvation in Pulaski, Tennessee is a body of Christ ministry for men. The program is a non profit faith ministry and therefore does not require any fees up front.

Faith Based Sober Living for Men

The program often houses men who are transient. I think it’s helpful that they offer their program to anyone in addition to their community members.

According to Reverend William A. Yates Jr., called Brother Bill, they are “a light in the middle of darkness in this world.” The ranch relies on donations by churches and others. The residents keep 25% of their pay while leaders keep 50% of their pay. The remainder is used for their housing.

Biblical Substance Use Counseling

Your substance use treatment will be through worship, Bible studies, and singing gospel hymns. Singing hymns before each meal will keep your mind occupied with the words of the song and divert cravings to spiritual thoughts.

The program is non denominational and accepts persons of all faiths. Residents sing hymns before meals, attend praise and worship time, and attend church on Sundays. Weekend visitation is available for families and wives of the men can stay weekends with their husbands.

12 Month Program with Community Service Incorporated

We know that giving to others causes us to be less selfish and less focused on our own desires. The men are required to do a certain number of community service hours each week.

The year long program is filled with people who are referred through legal means, churches, police departments and the highway patrol. Residents have the opportunity to earn their GED, learn how to manage their anger, and restore their relationship with their families.
