Child Guidance Center Southside Office

Child Guidance Center has a rapid response team of people trained to take calls and use de escalation techniques to provide immediate assistance. Follow up calls are also offered to check in on an individual after going through a crisis, and can allow for continued support through local resources.

Integrating Education

I think it’s unique that the Child Guidance Center has full service schools with a goal to encourage families to be involved in their adolescent’s healing process and their education. These services are offered in all schools across the Duval County Public Schools. The program also supports after school care and wants to prevent hospitalizations that are involuntary.
