About Chicago Treatment and Counseling Center IV
The Chicago Treatment and Counseling Center IV specializes in addiction treatment. Adults, who are 18 years of age and older, are able to receive substance abuse treatment, counseling, education and medication management in suburban Cicero, Illinois. It’s close by Knute Rockne Stadium. The center is open six days per week.
Their mission is to help reduce substance abuse by providing early intervention, education, treatment and rehabilitation. Chicago Treatment and Counseling Center is CARF-accredited and has a membership with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. They’re licensed by the DEA, the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and the Illinois Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. The physicians you will see are board certified and their counselors are also certified.
For the methadone maintenance program, you must have an addiction to opiates that spans at least one year in length. You will not need to schedule an intake appointment. For both the methadone and Suboxone programs, you’ll first undergo a thorough clinical assessment and physical. The assessment will help their staff better understand your specific needs, to create a successful individualized treatment plan for you.
You will be required to attend monthly counseling. I do like that they have an open door policy. WIth the open door policy, the clinicians will be able to meet your needs at all times. If the Suboxone program better fits your needs, they will write you a prescription that you can take to your local pharmacy. You will then return, within one week, for a follow up visit.
If needed, they offer a DUI program with education. This service is available in English and Spanish. The center is located near Hartgrove Hospital should you need any specialized services or programs. North Warren Park is also a couple of blocks away if greenspaces help you unwind between sessions.
