About Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare

Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Health is a community based mental health and addiction treatment program in Chesapeake, Virginia. They have services for adults and adolescents provided through general outpatient general services. They also have limited services for children. They give priority to pregnant women and women with dependent kids. However, all are Chesapeake residents welcome to receive care.

Their location features outpatient counseling to help you better understand your addiction and how it relates to your behavior. Counseling focuses on identifying the factors that fueled your drug use and other stressors that could be continuing these patterns. Adults can participate in individual and group counseling as they choose, although it's good to have peers to talk with and learn from each other. Adolescents can receive individual counseling.

While they don't provide inpatient care or detox, their site can link you to community resources that do. This is a feature that I like. Referrals are always a good thing to close the gap in your treatment needs, and I like that the staff here actively give such help.
