About Chanlyut Enterprises
Chanlyut House of the Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) in Anchorage, Alaska, offers a Pathway to New Beginnings program. They believe addiction to be a treatable but chronic medical disease resulting from genetics, the environment, and life experiences.
The center is a culturally responsive social service organization that serves Alaska native and American Indian natives. Their non profit affiliate partner, the Alaska Native Justice Center, provides advocacy, prevention, and intervention services to Alaska natives.
Substance Use Therapy and Education
We cannot work on any issues we have until we are educated about the issue and how to resolve it. In therapy groups you learn how to increase your self awareness, recognize and avoid self destructive behaviors, and discover trauma and other barriers to your self wellness.
You will learn skills that are essential for recovery, how to prevent relapses, how to develop healthy and sober relationships, and essential life skills.
