Community Helping Addicts Negotiate Change Effectively (CHANCE) is a non-profit substance addiction recovery center in Albany, Oregon. They provide support for those who are homeless and with addiction challenges.
CHANCE has a team of volunteers who offer assistance within the community with mental health and substance abuse issues. They promote positive lifestyle changes with guidance, support, and necessary tools and resources leading to essential life skills. These resources may help you with housing, career opportunities, and a healthier self-esteem.
Peer support services connect guests with outside resources and providers in the community. They have shelter services for those who need immediate housing due to homelessness. The goal is to help guests regain their lives and transition into their community. Peers have experienced addiction challenges and can understand the recovery process, providing empathy and valuable feedback.
If you are seeking help, the team at CHANCE is happy for you to visit them during regular business hours. They are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
