About Centerstone

Centerstone is located in Madison, Tennessee. They offer behavioral health services to address and treat your co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorder. They recently merged with Brightli, a similar nonprofit BHS provider to Centerstone.

Centerstone Provides Detoxification Inpatient Care

When you first arrive at Centerstone, you will be assessed for your current mental health state and any addictions you may be struggling with. I find it good to know that if you are experiencing an addiction to opioids or alcohol, they will provide you with overnight care to assist you in your detoxification process.

They may provide you with medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help you manage your cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Their medical team will closely manage your medication intake, as well as your symptoms, to ensure you are comfortable during the process.

Multiple Levels of Therapy and One-on-One Counseling

Before completion of your stabilization, a case manager will work with you to determine your next level of treatment. Centerstone offers multiple levels of therapy, counseling and peer support group meetings through outpatient services.

If you are not ready for outpatient care, they also offer additional inpatient treatment to help get you to a comfortable level of stability.

Residential Care with 24/7 Supervision

Their residential services provide comfortable living arrangements with 24/7 monitoring. I like that these services are also available to women who are pregnant and who are currently diagnosed with co-occurring disorders. During your stay, they will provide you with time for education, which may include relapse training and prevention training.

They will also allot time for you for recreation, which may include outdoor recreational therapy and indoor physical activities to assist in increasing your chances for life-long sobriety and wellness. In addition, they provide nutritional meals to encourage you to lead a healthier lifestyle.
