Turning Point Centers of Chittenden County serves Vermont's most populated county by providing recovery peer support, a Moms in Recovery program, recovery coaching and group meetings, an art studio with several mediums and woodworking, and free yoga. They can also help connect visitors with other resources including housing, food, and senior care.

They also have a community center that hosts recovery meetings, yoga classes, senior socializing, and serves as a rentable sober event space.
Upper Valley Turning Point

Upper Valley Turning Point in White River Junction has a drop-in center that hosts recovery meetings and offers recreation and fellowship, help navigating treatment, referrals to additional support services, and free naloxone (Narcan) and overdose prevention training. The center has a library, computer access, a pool table, and outdoor space for summer events. Upper Valley also offers recovery housing.

For Burlington residents with developmental, mental health, or substance use struggles, the Howard Center provides comprehensive support. Services include alternative school programs, vocational and employment support, housing services, eldercare, life skills training, and services for the justice involved. They also offer harm reduction services, including naloxone (Narcan) kits, overdose prevention training, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, HIV/Hep C testing & link to care, and case management.
ANEW Place

ANEW Place has a four-part housing program in Burlington for individual adults that includes emergency shelter, a transition plan, life skills training, relationship-building, supportive housing, and eventually permanent housing. Families with children can connect to COTS (Committee on Temporary Shelter.)

Vermont Alliance for Recovery Residences (VARR) offers financial support for adults needing recovery housing. They also certify recovery houses, verifying that the houses meet specific standards. The Alliance website has a page showing recovery homes in various counties and whether they have beds available.

Students receive short-term help for relationship difficulties, grief, family problems, academic stress, and more. They are a non-medical facility and clinical files are not part of the student's medical or military records.
