About Center for Life Resources

Center for Life Resources is a mental health facility located in Brownwood, Texas. They treat people for many kinds of mental health issues, including substance use disorder (SUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD). Admission Requirements

You will be given a full assessment when you come in to see if you can be helped with outpatient therapy or if an inpatient facility would be better for you. The facility is funded by a federal grant. You must meet their financial eligibility requirements.

Participants in the program must be literate and not have medical conditions that would prevent them from participating in treatment. I appreciate that clients here must also have a genuine desire to get and stay sober.

Treatment for SUD

Therapy for SUD is offered to people of all ages on an outpatient basis. You will have both group and individual therapy sessions.

I thought the family education groups were helpful. You will learn about parenting and communicating with your loved ones.

You will be assigned a case manager who will monitor your progress. They can help you find housing, vocational training, and even employment.
