About Roots To Recovery Outpatient Program

The Center for Great Expectations - Roots to Recovery is a substance use and co-occurring treatment program in North Brunswick, New Jersey. They are a dual licensed outpatient program, providing men and women a judgement free environment. Insurance is accepted including Medicaid and Medicare. If you’re uninsured, they may have state funding available to help pay for your treatment. They offer bilingual services in Spanish.

Their treatment programs are person centered. They believe in treating the entire person, by considering your physical, emotional, spiritual and social qualities, not just the problem.

You’ll undergo an assessment to ensure you receive the care you deserve. Depending on your needs, you’ll either participate in their intensive outpatient program (IOP) or their outpatient program (OP). With the IOP, you’ll have stricter guidelines to follow when it comes to how many hours a week you attend treatment. Individual and group therapy will be part of your treatment. If needed, you will also be able to attend family counseling.

If needed, medication assisted treatment (MAT) is provided. The medications you may be prescribed are either Suboxone or Vivitrol. These medications are FDA approved to help reduce your substance cravings and ease your withdrawal symptoms. With your symptoms under control, you’ll be able to focus on your recovery.

I like that they will drug test you. This provides you with accountability. Case management will also be provided. The case managers help deal with your insurance or legal matters so that you can solely focus on treatment. They are also able to provide you with any additional resources you may need.
