Center for Behavioral Health Shreveport is one of several Louisiana substance use treatment facilities. They work with most health providers including Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare and Optum. At this clinic, you can get outpatient medication assisted recovery services and addiction counseling.

They treat clients with methadone. This is the gold standard in opioid recovery medication. This medication is even safe during pregnancy. Once you stabilize you can earn take home doses which means you won’t have to come to the clinic as often.
