Acute, Short Term Mental Health Hospitalization
At this location in Bemidji, Minnesota, they provide acute, short term hospitalization services for adults who require mental health treatment and medication management. The hospital has 16 beds and uses a multidisciplinary team approach that includes psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, addiction counselors and occupational therapists.
Customized treatment plans include an individualized discharge plan and aftercare plan to transition back into an appropriate setting in home communities. Only friends and family are allowed to visit and only at the patient's request. However, based on your treatment needs, visitors may be denied for a short time.
