About Cazenovia Recovery Systems Cazenovia Manor
Cazenovia Manor is a residential addiction treatment facility for men that is part of Cazenovia Recovery Systems. Serving the city of Buffalo, New York, they offer a community style residence that includes substance abuse and mental health counseling. You’ll be receiving intensive clinical treatment each day with medical care and vocational support. Treatment includes on site meals and semi private rooms.
To be enrolled in this program you’ll need to be a man aged 18 and over and be enrolled in a Medicaid managed healthcare plan. They can support up to 23 men at a time. Your stay could last between a few weeks to a few months.
Focused on basic primary care and addiction counseling, CAZ’s residential program teaches you how to succeed in early recovery. Family counseling sessions are also part of this experience in order to repair any strained relationships. After the residential care, you’ll be connected to a reintegration program which includes community resources and vocational services.
All counseling is trauma informed and topics vary each day. The focus may include conflict resolution, mindfulness, and stress management. Your schedule will reflect your personal recovery goals. If you don’t want to attend a group with budgeting skills you can try something else. Licensed counselors will help you through cognitive behavioral therapy and contingency management to reach your goals.
Understanding that finding affordable housing in Western New York can be difficult, CAZ will help you with rent subsidies and wraparound services.
Residents are surveyed after they leave treatment to measure the efficacy of the treatment program. Ninety six percent of residents were satisfied with the care they received in 2022 and remained drug and alcohol free after their stay. Some former clients said the staff is wonderful and caring, others say they did not have the best experience with most staff members.
