When visiting Catholic Charities for crisis care, you’ll receive an immediate assessment and have your basic primary care needs met. They provide case management by connecting with other health providers, social service providers, and law enforcement. They’re committed to working with your family members to ensure long term recovery and success.
The Opioid Prevention and Treatment Program is for individuals aged 16 and over with opioid use disorder. Using medication assisted therapy and peer support services, they’ll help you manage your withdrawal symptoms and drug cravings. You’ll be provided with Vivitrol or Suboxone if you’re eligible with this program. Each person gets an individualized and adjusted dosage. It’s important to note that you need to be off of opioids for seven to 14 days before starting Vivitrol.
For military veterans and their families, you can access screenings, brief interventions, and referrals to treatment services. They have specialized programs for post traumatic stress disorder. These services have peer advocates with military and life experience.
