James E. Hagan Manor – Closed

Now closed, James E. Hagan Manor in Somerville, Massachusetts used to provide residential addiction treatment services to men with disabilities and histories of substance abuse. Various payment options were accepted including Medicaid, Medicare, private health plans, military plans, self pay and state financed programs.

A Residential Drug Rehab for Men

Residents here could benefit from structured inpatient programming on site, with stays typically lasting around 30 to 90 days. As part of this, clients benefited from comprehensive addiction treatment services and therapy.

Meals were also provided alongside treatment to fuel residents’ recovery efforts. As for accommodation, the facility featured a six bedroom suite, designed for comfort and providing ample personal space for each resident.

On site case management services were also provided to help residents stabilize, as well to monitor their progress on the treatment program.

Aftercare Support in Whatever Way You Needed

On completion of the program, the focus here was on establishing a plan of long term, ongoing support. For some, this looked like sober housing or access to halfway houses. For others, aftercare would look like career guidance to support individuals in getting set back up professionally post-recovery, or even access to local community support groups.
