About Casa Solana
Casa Solana Inc. provides a social model recovery home in Grover Beach, California through residential support for women navigating alcohol and drug addiction.
The voluntary 90-day program serves women 18 and older through peer-oriented recovery, relapse prevention and life skills development.
Established as a recovery home for women in San Luis Obispo County, Casa Solana is built on the belief that lasting sobriety grows alongside self-sufficiency and community connection.
Women's Social Model Recovery
I am impressed that Casa Solana's core focus is helping women rebuild their lives through a structured social model residential program.
Residents actively participate in one another's recovery and help govern the home through resident councils, creating a peer-driven environment rooted in accountability and mutual support.
Daily programming blends recovery planning and relapse prevention with practical education on parenting, nutrition, communication and personal wellness.
Spiritually based meetings and Roadrunners Recovery groups are offered Monday through Friday, giving residents consistent touchpoints for connection and growth.
Life Skills and Self-Sufficiency Support
In addition to sobriety, I noted that Casa Solana prioritizes the tools women need to thrive after the program ends.
Residents work on self-esteem, assertiveness, family life, continuing education and job development while learning to navigate community resources like social service agencies, mental health clinics and support groups.
Addiction Treatment Programs
An adult program in California uses various therapeutic methods to treat a person who is dependent on an addictive substance. Individuals aged 18 and older are eligible for treatment, which focuses on breaking the cycle of addiction and learning how to maintain sober living.
Women’s rehab in California provides a safe environment where women can work through addiction challenges surrounded by their gender peers. This often creates an environment that is more conducive to recovery.
Levels of Care
Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient rehab in California reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program’s design.
California sober living has been shown to reduce relapse and improve recovery. These programs offer highly-structured living environments for those who desire to remain sober. House rules usually include abstinence from substances, participation in 12-step meetings, and contribution to household responsibilities.
