About BHN The Carson Center Adults and Families
The Behavioral Health Network (BHN) provides substance use and mental health treatment in Westfield, Massachusetts. They have services for children, youth and adults and offer programs in English and Spanish.
The center provides a community peer program with Certified Peer Specialists who can understand the challenges you face. They have dealt with addiction and been in recovery. You will have 90 days of support which includes a recovery action plan to help you design a future without drugs or alcohol. Peer specialists can also arrange transportation and provide advocacy so you get the benefits you need.
BHN will coordinate care with other providers to ensure everyone is collaborating on your behalf so you get the most resources possible for recovery.
They offer family support to help loved ones encourage children in intensive care coordination, in-home therapies or outpatient services. The training included can help empower families and serve as a resource for ongoing care.
The center provides same-day care and support for those who need immediate assistance. You’ll have navigation to help with insurance, food and housing assistance. Guests attend skill-building workshops to help them learn new coping skills and life management. You may learn how to budget, skills for job improvement and other helpful methods to continue sobriety.
They provide seminars and groups where you can express yourself and also learn more about addiction and how it affects thinking patterns and relationships. The goal is to offer the services you need when you need them to achieve long term sobriety.
