About Atrium Health Addiction Services Ballantyne

Charlotte, North Carolina or the “Queen City” is home to Atrium Health Addiction Services Ballantyne. As part of the third-largest nonprofit healthcare network in the nation, Atrium Health provides top-tier medical and behavioral health services across multiple locations. Their CARF-accredited intensive outpatient program offers flexible addiction and co-occurring disorder care for adults. If you don’t have insurance then you can access different financial assistance options based on your ability to pay.

Outpatient services provide the freedom to live at home while participating in treatment best practices. That way, you can apply new coping and life skills in daily situations like work and home. This 12-week track offers three weekly three-hour sessions.

Rooted in the 12-Step principles, their programs emphasize healing your mind, body and spirit. You can also engage in proven interventions including medication-assisted treatment, individual, group and family counseling and specialized co-occurring and multi-substance use disorder treatment.

One incredible feature that caught my eye was their aftercare services. They understand that treatment is just the first step in sustaining recovery. You can access continuous support to stay on track in your journey. They provide recovery tools, relapse prevention education, linkage to community resources, group meetings and family peer support. These approaches can help you manage addiction symptoms and triggers and build a solid network of peers on similar paths.

Another interesting element I noticed was their DWI assistance program. You can participate in counseling and receive assistance with navigating the legal aspects of DWI offenses. If you complete this program then you won’t only benefit from a new understanding of the dangers of substance use and driving. You’ll also build coping skills to promote your recovery.
