About Cambodian Association of America
Located in Long Beach, California, the Cambodian Association of America is a non-profit organization that helps establish Cambodian small businesses and assist Cambodian refugees. This organization offers outpatient addiction treatment and prevention.
Other programs provided include child abuse prevention and intervention, family preservation, domestic violence, family caregiver support, mental health counseling, prevention, and community wellness. The substance abuse program consists of individual and group counseling between two and four hours a day for two to four days per week. Drug rehab program participants are given referrals to more intensive residential treatment as needed.
This program is funded by the LA Department of Public Health Substance Abuse Prevention and Control.
