About CADA Adolescent Treatment Center

The CADA Adolescent Treatment Center was located in Shreveport, Louisiana. They’re permanently closed now but they offered many different treatments and services to adolescents who had addiction or mental health struggles. While this location is no longer in operation, the CADA organization is still in operation. Through other locations, you can still get many of these same services.

When it was opened, the care team offered support to children and adolescents who needed help recovering from addictions to drugs or alcohol. They also offered specialized care if you were battling a mental health struggle. What stood out to me was that families were also offered care. Family members were empowered with knowledge and resources to help their loved ones succeed.

Working with a trained and experienced counselor during recovery was crucial. You’d have that support here and you’d have learned essential recovery skills. Some of the skills include being able to identify your triggers and knowing how to manage those triggers. You would have been empowered with tools and strategies that would’ve helped you during your recovery.
