About Brighter Days

Brighter Days is a community mental health center. It’s part of the Community Counseling Services network and is located in Louisville, Mississippi. Here you’ll find comprehensive behavioral health services including outpatient addiction treatment, therapy, DUI assessments, peer support, and crisis response services. All treatment is considered dual diagnosis at CCS, as it treats mental health disorders alongside substance abuse.

CCS serves a number of special populations like the LGBTQ+ community, people with serious mental illness, and people with eating disorders.

Helping both children and adults, Community Counseling Services is a state-certified mental health service provider. I noticed that if you need behavioral health treatment, you can access prevention and peer support, DUI assessment, substance abuse treatment, and crisis response support. Adolescents can also receive psychiatric support and targeted case management services.

Several special populations are served at CCS including older adults, persons with traumatic brain injuries, people with post-traumatic stress disorder, and people with HIV/AIDs.

A Quaint City With Serene Outdoor Environments

In Winston County, you’ll find a variety of outdoor activities and environments like hiking, craft fairs, swimming, and fishing. There are many concerts and hiking trails, as well as a Geyser Falls Water Theme Park. There’s a quaint downtown area that allows for shopping and walking.

While attending treatment in Louisville, you’ll experience group therapy, cognitive behavioral work, experiential therapy, and family psychoeducation.
