About Brevity Treatment Services

Brevity Treatment Services specialized in substance use assessments and treatment services. The facility was in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with easy access to I-90. The services they offered were online only. Although they were located in Coeur d’Alene, the clinicians were certified in multiple states, so they could expand their service reach. They accepted private pay, Idaho Magellan and BPA. The facility is now permanently closed.

Easy and Convenient Online Services

The specialized substance use assessments and treatment were all online. I think this was a nice feature, since it removed any transportation obstacles a client might have had.

Clients didn’t have to worry about childcare needs, added financial pressure if they had to use public transportation, or challenges with their vehicles. Despite being 100% online, the services were HIPAA compliant.

Unique Benefits of Assessment Only Facility

I’ve noticed that some clients feel that when treatment is recommended by the same facility doing the substance use assessment, they may not be getting the least restrictive or most affordable treatment, but the treatment that works best for the clinicians. This facility was an assessment only facility that adhered to the ASAM treatment requirements and referred clients to the least restrictive level of care.

The clinicians at this office had a minimum of a master’s degree. Many had doctorate degrees, and the degrees were specialized in the field of addiction. Most of the clinicians had additional certifications and training depending on the legal system in the states where they offered care.

Another convenience this facility offered was quick appointment times. The staff prioritized setting appointments quickly to help satisfy treatment and legal needs. They also connected clients to other providers who were better suited to the client’s needs.

Please note that while this facility is now closed, there are many substance use treatment facilities still open in the area.
