About A Reprieve for Women Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab
A Reprieve for Women in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a residential treatment program for women with substance use disorder. The staff helps clients to recover from addiction through a combination of individual and group therapy along with 12 step meetings. The facility offers flexible financing options and payment plans.
Phased Therapeutic Support in Tuscaloosa
The 90 day rehab program is broken into two different phases. The first phase will be 45 days, and the main focus will be on understanding the root cause of your addiction. Some activities in your day will include daily spirituality and meditation exercises, individual therapy, and group therapy.
What I found unique is that they focus on three foundational elements for recovery: connecting with a form of spirituality, building healthy non toxic relationships and finding out who you are as an individual beyond survival mode. All of these things are essential to building a successful life outside of treatment.
Phase two of treatment is where you will begin becoming more independent and taking on responsibilities outside of the treatment program. Clients who have access to a personal vehicle can start applying for jobs. After four months of treatment, you can start working on your college or high school degree. Additionally, you’ll get 24 hour access to your cell phone and have permission to leave for daytime activities.
Recovery Through Rekindled Joy and Passion
A Reprieve for Women offers various fun and engaging activities to spark joy and passion in their patients again. The joy their clients feel can be a motivation for continuing on the path of sobriety.
You’ll have the chance to volunteer in the community, explore nature, participate in game nights, and enjoy pool parties. If exploring nature becomes something you want to continue experiencing after the program, Tuscaloosa has opportunities nearby to do that, such as visiting Lake Lurleen State Park or walking around the Sipsey River Swamp.
