About Bluff Plantation

Just a 2-hour drive from Atlanta, Georgia, in Augusta, Bluff Plantation is a residential addiction treatment facility. Support is available to adults aged 18+ regardless of gender, race, or background.

Integrated treatment for those with dual diagnoses and concurrent mental health conditions is also available here. In terms of how the center approaches addiction treatment, their programming begins with 24/7 medically supervised detox. During this time, residents are supported as they ride the waves of uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Onsite medical care is provided to ensure client safety.

A wide range of holistic and experiential therapies and activities are also available, including a nationally respected equine-assisted therapy program, art, gardening, hiking, exercise, outings, and a ropes course. Mindfulness is also practiced here, through practices such as yoga and meditation. Clinical therapies are of course also offered, including individual and group therapies. Family weekend programs also feature here as a way to encourage family members to support their loved ones through treatment. Relapse prevention planning, addiction education, and nutritional guidance also all play a part in this facility’s well-rounded program and care.
