A Better Today was an outpatient addiction treatment provider in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.

I was impressed by their outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, along with case management and family support.

I liked their emphasis on accessible, person centered care that addresses both addiction and the practical needs of daily life.

Treatment typically began with a screening and assessment to determine the appropriate level of care, whether outpatient, intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization.

This step based approach allowed clients to receive the right intensity of support while continuing to live at home and remain connected to work, school and family.

Clients could expect individual counseling, group counseling and family or support sessions using CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model and relapse prevention.

The program also coordinated with outside providers of MAT, including methadone, Suboxone, Sublocade and Vivitrol.
