About BestCare Latino Residential Treatment
Serving the community of Madras, Oregon, BestCare Latino Residential Treatment is a men’s only addiction treatment program for the Latino population. Residential treatment addresses the physical, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional aspects of addiction. This program is unique because it’s the only program in the entire state of Oregon that focuses of Latinos and delivers all of its services in Spanish.
This residential program is ideal for men who need intensive treatment and it lasts between three and six months. This program is designed to help you get sober as quickly as possible. You’ll create a personalized recovery plan that will stay updated with your progress and goals.
During treatment you’ll engage in an approach called motivational interviewing (MI), create a sober community, and participate in process groups. There will be individual and group counseling sessions combined with mindfulness and yoga. Sessions will focus on the barriers that stand in your way on your journey toward change. You’ll participate in regular exercise, 12 Step groups, and acupuncture. This program provides 24 hour medical care and psychiatric support. Recovery mentors at Best Care can provide ongoing recovery support to ensure long-term sobriety. Family groups are hosted for loved ones of anyone attending treatment.
