About Beacon House Venice

Beacon House is one of four Mental Health Community Center locations in Florida. This location is in the Charming coastal city of Venice, Florida. There are 14 miles of beaches and a historic downtown with Northern Italian style architecture and unique boating canals. The facility itself has a kitchen, laundry room, and over 40 parking spaces.

Services for Adults with Mental Illness

Beacon House is one of the mental health community centers, offering services to adults with mental health conditions. Although they don’t offer a structured substance use disorder program, I like that they continue to promote mental wellness for individuals who are in recovery, helping to reduce relapse potential.

In addition to providing a safe environment, they also offer services that reduce social isolation and unemployment. I’m impressed that the wellness centers are designed to meet a critical Community need for non-medical support services and programs that reduce the potential for rehospitalization for mental health conditions or substance use disorders.

They offer a supported employment model to help you obtain competitive employment in your local area. We like that they believe that everyone is capable of working competitively when you can find the right work environment and job.

The primary goal of Beacon House is to find a fit between the client's strengths and experiences and jobs in the community. They understand that work plays a pivotal role in a person's life and can help reduce the risk of relapse.
