About Beacon Center

With treatment facilities in Rome and Utica, New York, Beacon Center provides medication assisted treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient, and aftercare services for adults experiencing drug and alcohol dependency. They also offer opioid treatment (OTP), dual diagnosis, young adult programs, and programs for justice-involved persons. Individual, group, and family counseling, with or without MAT, are the primary treatment modalities.

Aftercare planning and alumni programs are also available, including community reintegration support for clients in outpatient recovery who are homeless or require housing assistance. Ancillary services include vocational and educational training, employment assistance, parenting courses, legal aid, addiction education, nutrition and wellness programs, and relapse prevention. Private insurance, Medicaid, and self-pay are accepted and funding assistance, including sliding scale payment plans, are available. They are certified by OASAS and licensed by the State of New York.
