About Aware Inc

The nonprofit organization AWARE -- Great Falls offers support for mental illness and substance abuse. Their location in Great Falls, Montana has programs for all age groups and delivers them in a general outpatient setting. In addition to therapeutic services for addiction and behavioral concerns, AWARE offers wraparound services to promote daily stability. You can receive co-occurring disorder care here, and staff can meet you where you are in the community. They have a sliding fee scale and will not turn you away if you're unable to afford services.

AWARE's goal is to ensure you're able to live a successful life despite the roadblocks in your way. When you're accepted into the program, you'll be given a unique treatment plan based on your needs. So, in addition to psychiatric support and therapy, you could receive additional case management services. You'll be fully supported by staff so that you can continue to live independently and remain in your home. Wraparound services can assist you in connecting with additional community resources. They even offer vocational and housing support.

If you're looking for something more hands on, you may like their Therapeutic Recreation Program. This program offers experiential therapy devoted to strengthening skills and promoting socialization. In addition to developing coping skills and learning how to manage symptoms, you can also engage in components focusing on physical health through exercise. This kind of recreation adds another dimension to your care through lifestyle changes that support your sobriety. If you want something more in addition to traditional talk therapy, this could be worth looking into as an option.
