About Avita Community Partners Adolescent Clubhouse

In the heart of downtown Gainesville, Georgia, right across the street from the Hall County Courthouse, is the Avita Community Partners’ Adolescent Clubhouse. This is an outpatient clinic that provides quality, interpersonal care to children and adolescents who are in need of counseling services.

These counseling programs will help you with mental health struggles you are facing including issues pertaining to your behavioral health. There are also substance abuse services offered here, too.

You'll find that they use a host of evidence based approaches to care, including cognitive behavioral therapy, where you’ll be encouraged to get to the root cause of your struggles.

For children and adolescents who are recovering from substance abuse or are at risk, a big part of treatment is having a support system you can turn to. They’ll help you build that system of support whether it be through loved ones, a trusted counseling team, or a supportive school community.

They’ll help you set life and academic goals while encouraging you to build essential skills to lead an independent life. While these services target youth, family counseling also plays a big role in your treatment here.

The team at Avita’s Adolescent Clubhouse recognizes that recovery is individualized and your interests and specific struggles are not only recognized but drive your overall recovery plan. That way, they can nip an addiction in the bud before it gets worse. Interventions are also available should a loved one have trouble recognizing that they need help.

One aspect of Avita that I really appreciate is that their services are geared toward those who might struggle to find quality care. The organization is experienced in working with recovering individuals who might have developmental delays or intellectual disabilities. They also have American Sign Language fluent case managers and counselors who will help you tackle obstacles you might be facing in recovery.
