About Atlanta Mission

My Sister's House is a residential addiction recovery and homeless services provider in Atlanta, Georgia operated by Atlanta Mission. This 264-bed facility offers long-term residential treatment, counseling, life skills training, and faith-based programs exclusively for women and mothers with children.

I've foundt that the women appreciate the safe, trauma-informed environment with the ability to keep their families together during recovery.

Long-Term Residential Programs with My Sister's House

The program exclusively serves women over age 18 and mothers with children, allowing families to stay together during treatment. My Sister's House provides long-term residential treatment with individual therapy, group counseling, and faith-based Christian programs designed to address the root causes of addiction and homelessness.

My Sister's House specializes in supporting victims of domestic violence, women experiencing homelessness due to addiction, and residents of Fulton and DeKalb counties in Georgia.

Before admission, women must be fully detoxified with at least 72 hours since last drug use or 24 hours since last alcohol use.

Residents also receive life skills training in areas like time management, money management, and career guidance.

Non-Profit and Free Services

All services at My Sister's House are provided completely free of charge. I've found they even provide free childcare, so mothers can focus on recovery.

Atlanta Mission operates as a nonprofit funded through donations.
