Recovery programs differ slightly but generally include individual and group therapy, family counseling, medication management, skill development, psychiatric care, peer support, self help groups, and discharge planning. Counselors employ a range of evidence based therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, medication assisted treatment, and motivational interviewing. Program participants will learn vital skills to achieve and sustain recovery, such as relapse prevention strategies, communication skills, and recovery support tools. Prior to graduating from the program, clients will devise a comprehensive aftercare and relapse prevention plan together with their counselor, focused on maintaining recovery.
Medication assisted treatment is endorsed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse as the gold standard of addiction treatment for opioid use disorders and alcohol use disorders. MAT involves the use of certain medications, like Suboxone, in conjunction with behavioral therapy. It is considered a highly effective treatment.
Aspire Health Partners - Sanford Campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and licensed by the state. Programs are available to adults requiring addiction treatment but who do not require 24 hour support. Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance, self pay, sliding scale, and commercial insurance plans accepted. Financing is also available.
